From paper to fax machine

Clapifax sends your document to a fax number in one of the supported countries and keeps you posted until it arrives.

Scan or import

Scan up to 20 pages with the camera, or import PDFs and photos from Files and Photos. Fax filters turn pages into crisp black and white.

Sign and fill in

Draw your signature once and place it on any page, then add text and today’s date. Signatures stay on your device.

Cover page and header

Add a free cover page if you like. Every page gets a header with the date, time, your name and your number, as US law requires.

Live status

Follow each fax live, from dialing to the last page, and get a notification when it’s delivered or fails.

Transmission report

Every fax gets a PDF report with date, time, recipient, pages and status that you can keep, share or print.

Print with AirPrint

Print documents and transmission reports on any AirPrint printer.

Pay per page, not per week

Credits are in-app purchases in packs of 10, 30, 100 and 300, from about 10 cents per page. The App Store shows the prices in your local currency before you buy.

How credits work

1 credit sends 1 page to the US, Canada, Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Other supported countries use 2 credits per page, and the cover page is free.

The app shows the price before you send. Credits never expire.

Failed faxes are free

Credits are only used when a fax is delivered. If the line is busy or nobody answers, Clapifax tries twice more, 5 minutes apart.

If the fax still fails, all its credits go back to your balance automatically.

Your documents, kept only as long as needed

Sending a fax needs a server. Ours runs in Germany and keeps your document only until the fax is done.

Deleted after 24 hours

Our server deletes each document 24 hours after the fax is delivered or has failed. Fax records are deleted after 90 days.

No sign-up

Clapifax uses an anonymous account. Sign in with Apple is optional, to keep your credits on a new device, and we don’t receive your name or email.

No tracking

No analytics, advertising or tracking in the app. Faxes are transmitted by our telephone provider Telnyx. Details are in the privacy policy.
