From paper to searchable PDF

Clapiscan uses Apple’s document camera with automatic edge detection and perspective correction, then recognizes the text on your device.

Scan and edit

Scan multi-page documents, then reorder, rotate, re-crop, add or delete pages and apply filters such as Grayscale, Black & White or Whiteboard.

Text recognition

On-device text recognition adds an invisible text layer, so your PDFs are searchable and you can select and copy text.

Organize and find

Folders, tags, favourites, full-text search and Spotlight. Deleted documents stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Import and export

Import from Photos and Files, export as PDF, JPEG, PNG or text, print, or share with the share sheet.

Forms and QR codes

Fill in PDF forms and scan QR codes and barcodes, with a history.

App Lock

Optionally lock Clapiscan with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode.
